The story is really relatable. I'm not sure if it's just me, but there's no music playing in the background. For better or for worse, maybe. Because there's a music playing in my head while playing - namely the bgm of the game I used to play during the pandemic. During that time, I isolated myself from my real life friends. But in the game, I made new ones. I knew them for almost a year or even more. But then slowly, as the pandemic ended, my friends quit. At first, I could still contact them on discord, but then they also went offline (probably uninstalled the app). While playing this game, I was crying in the middle because it reminded me of my online friends, how we're no longer in contact, how there are things I want to share with them, how I want to talk with them about anything and everything just like the old times.

Thank you for this game.

Despite it's simplicity on the outside, I think this perfectly emulated the experience so many of us can feel, trapped on the internet.  Where we feel like it's the only place we can talk to people, but that it also holds us back from those people.  I especially related with the irrational thoughts and anxiety about the person being hurt or not responding for a reason.  All that overthinking.  Very nice, condensed experience.

thank you so much for playing and sharing your thoughts on it - really made my day!

something about this is very, very interesting. really well done on the art, the pacing of writing, and what internal thoughts you share. the way that the lost friend talks in dreams feeling so immediately out of character really struck me. replaying it with the "no" answers also felt really interesting. i think there's a lot to say about this story that one comment cannot justify and that is the sign of really interesting, well-made and passionate art. well done!

aww thank you for the kind words James!!

this was nice :) i think we're getting obsessed with escapism as a society again and i like this take on it

thank you for reading it Max, really appreciate it!! 😭

Everything hurts, why is this so real tho

:"") glad to hear the story struck a chord with you!

a cute story, and the end also made me kinda sadTT.btw the game reminds me of Sky

thank you!! Yes Sky was one of the inspirations :D (as well as Journey!) I love those games ^^

Lovely game which touches on memories from online games I've played. Clever format. Avatars are cute end evocative. Nice use of symbols to convey concepts. Great online "voices" for each character!

On mobile, there is an extra space between apostrophe and the final letter, eg it's displays as it' s

thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! I think the extra space is due to the font, I'm not too sure how to adjust it 😅

Loved it! A thoughtful and tender story that helped me out of a mid week slump.

thank you so much!! so happy to hear 🥺💛

Ur mean cause you peered into my soul and made me sad :<
But my wave of sadness is over
It's all past this specific point in my life, I already became desensitized to most of everything, still glad that some of these games lets me feel again, a more proper closure to the ones I didn't have.

aww thank you for your comment, I'm glad to hear the story resonated with you. Wishing you all the best and a lot of happiness for the future!
